Good morning! So you see, I usually wake up early and today's definitely one of those exceptions to that somewhat rule. And no, it's not my birthday, I will be celebrating mines on the twelfth day of May. My mom's was yesterday and I sort of forgot it (blaming school for that disaster).

She had to almost tell me (since her dropping clues weren't really adding up in my mind correctly) just for something inside of me to snap and actually remember! To somewhat soothe me and my brain, I learned that other people in the house also forgot!

Only my uncle, her older brother, remembered (so that was why he bought ice cream last night and when I begged to haven a taste, swatted my hand from the freezer quickly)! Her aunt or her father's sister also forgot, and so did my brother! Good thing mom was ready to forgive and forget as usual.

Even though we knew we would already end up going home late if we do what we usually do when someone in the house as a birthday (except for her aunt of course, she complains about going outside of the house since her joints are always achy and stuff), they still waited for me at the mall near the school where mom works as a librarian (I could've went there straight from school but I forgot, we would have gone home earlier then).

We ended up having dinner at Pancake House (yummmmy), instead of Max's because there were too many people at Max's and mom hates crowded places (somewhat like me). I already forgot what we ordered 'cause I was so dead tired when we finally came home yesterday and slept at once after greeting mom again.

I'm having a hard time choosing between these two. I actually already narrowed them from three to just two since these two are usually the phones I see people are with lately. since as you might've read in one of my past entries, my phone has been gone for sometime now fortunately and unfortunately. Fortunate because I can finally replace it (it has served me for about four years already and has since then experienced meeting the floor so many times and has many scratches to prove that).

Bloody unfortunate however because I know for a fact that it can't be replaced at once which is the reason why I only talked about buying phones now when I have lost it sometime around October before our final examinations for first semester started. I was supposed to buy one this week but my stupid uncle (he owed my mom money and that's supposed to be the money we're going to buy a phone with) couldn't produce cash and postponed it to next week. If mom won't be able to buy any of these two phones, I might just settle down with a phone from Cherry Mobile and an iPod.

Now, why am I choosing between these two phones? I don't really have a solid reason why besides the reason that they both look good and their prices don't exceed four digits ('cause mom would definitely not buy me something that's five digits and up like you know, an iPhone, well actually, I'm not really even sure if mom would be okay with the prices of these two but I guess she'll just have to deal since it's her fault anyway for giving me so much time to think about a new phone).

Seriously though, besides their prices and looks, both of these phones have enough memory for all of the songs I have since when I estimated how much memory my music have accumulated just sometime ago, I found that I needed around five gigabytes. I have then found out that phones usually have 2 to 3 gigabytes (that is, if I'm looking for something really cheap) then if I wanted something that a bigger memory, I'll be going for the next which is around eight gigabytes (both of these phones meet that specification).

I also chose Nokia C3 because Candy (a magazine that I've been collecting for sometime now) recommends it if I want a cute but affordable unit which packs a lot of features alongside myPhone S Q27 Duo (I have pondered on that as well but when I got a look at it online, I knew for a fact that it wasn't the phone for me even if it was a lot cheaper than Nokia). I chose Samsung Champ on the other hand because the company once went to the university where I'm studying to endorse it once which is why I kind of remembered it.

As in, help her do this. I was even staring at her when she told me to prepare some stuff as we were emptying the plastic bags of groceries we bought before going home since I seriously didn't have any experience cooking anything at all, even eggs or hotdogs. Unless you count my entering a cooking contest when I was in sixth grade concerning pasta dishes for which I had to memorize a whole recipe with me not ending up as a winner but just as a finalist. Yeah, a fucking finalist for what it was all worth. I don't even exactly understand now why I even bothered to join that.

I was kind of disappointed this morning when mom served this for breakfast and all my pressing of the corners together ended.. open. Pancit molo (never mind the pancit part 'cause I asked my mom why there was the pancit part in the name when there's not even a single strand of pancit or noodle in the end product and then she just pursed her lips, shook her head at me, laughed and told me I was being foolish; I was just looking like what the heck at her, not that she would understand what I was trying to convey when I gave her that look) is supposed to Filipino Dumpling Soup in English.

So you see, I was kind of expecting something looking like dumplings in my soup that morning but what greeted me instead in the bowl was wrapper floating and baby handfuls (or maybe even half of that) of filling of meat, shrimp, egg, onions, turnips, salt, and pepper swimming in the soup. But anyways, it's still all good 'cause it did end up tasting good (or I don't know, maybe that's just me 'cause I'm tasting my hard work last night and that just tastes so epic like I swear). Mom tells me the same thing though but I think we have the same reason for saying such so.

Mom ended packing up some of it for our lunch today at school so I was in pure bliss while putting some minced spring onion and think flakes of garlic on my dumplings. My brother only appreciated the dish during lunch and dinner though (I'm thinking this will continue 'til tomorrow morning 'cause my grandmother and my aunt who is currently living with us didn't like the dish and therefore didn't touch their share when we left some at home) since he wasn't a huge fan of it when we had it for breakfast (I only knew now the explanation for his sour face).

I'm the only consuming the spring onion though. My mom and my brother hates it. I don't exactly know why. Whenever I ask them, they just give me faces saying I was being stupid. So I'm not gonna ask again just to get the same answer for the sake of this entry. Sorry.

I had nothing else to do but clean the house a little, stare at my bro until he threw some shit at me, and played a little with mom's phone just to piss her out as well since she thinks that's the reason why her load is disappearing (but seriously, it's just because she keeps on making this useless calls to almost everyone and you're probably wondering why I'm using hers and not mine, well, that's just plain because I left my phone at our classroom and have never recovered it since then although I've seriously tried so many times but to no avail).

I also ate and ate until I feel like I'm going to burst like how the chocolate thing burst into the wheat fields and poof! It became Koko Krunch! :D Ya know what, my classmate has another version of that and it's a lot more funnier than the original. My classmate says the real story behind Koko Krunch is that a huge farmer was sitting on this toilet bowl in something like a portalet (they're like comfort room portable cubicles in the middle of nowhere, like at construction sites, cemeteries during all saints' day, and at the beach).

This portalet's made of wood though not plastic 'cause I think that's how they roll in the province, in the middle of the wheat fields. So there he was, doing his thing and then, when he was trying to flush it, he had a hard time because there was just so many of his shit in the bowl and when he did finally get to flush it, it exploded instead into the wheat fields and poof! It became Koko Krunch. So now you know why Koko Krunch is just so delicious! (And then I asked that classmate of mine, why is there white Koko Krunch then? She just grinned at me and said, oh that's an entirely different story, my dear. I swear she must be crazy or something!)

Anywho, besides eating like there's no tomorrow, I also alternated between finishing crossword puzzles, where there's a list of words below and you've gotta find all of them in the box with jumbled letters and catching some zzz's like I've never caught any during the past days. There's also me scaring the shit out of our pets here at home, reading and re-reading my magazines, and of course listening to music, how much old they tend to be, I didn't care much, just so I can say I'm doing something, if nothing at all. Basically, I've been a lazy arse all day.

I had money, I just didn't want to go out. Why didn't I want to go out? Maybe because amongst my family and friends, I'm the only who has money as of the moment since they've all spent their shit during the past days and I don't really feel like being with freeloaders all day, treating them to shit ('cause that's seriously all I'm really treating them to if they're gonna be just freeloaders). So I admit I tend to be a freeloader sometimes but I swear I only become like it 'cause there are people out there who are actually, believe it or not, willing to be victims.

That scene above is from Sweet November since a friend of mine has been nagging me forever to watch it and I only actually got to remember it this morning when I woke up. I might watch it later after publishing this post and before going to the cemetery to visit my mom's mom, her dad, and her brother (otherwise known as my second favorite uncle of all, all time!). So I know, we should instead be visiting them tomorrow since All Souls' Day is on November 2 and All Saints' is today but you know, by tomorrow as well, the cemeteries will all be so dirty thanks to the people who were visiting their dead loved ones since October 30 (yep, you heard that one right, that freaking early, seriously, even I don't know if those people still have social lives or something).

Unfortunately, my only other living uncle won't be able to come with us since he is having difficulty handling his sickness lately (he has prostate cancer) and is trying to avoid getting too tired and stressed and having to be under the sun (even if we will be bringing his huge umbrella and we -- that's me, my mom, and my brother -- will be the one putting up this umbrella and other stuff since we plan to be there for half the day). Mom's still bringing tons of food though, don't ask me why. It's not like we'll be gone for a week anyway.

She usually makes carbonara (which is also usually the best and that goes from my brother as well and that's saying something 'cause he's more into spaghetti than into carbonara) and spaghetti then buys different kinds of breads like banana bread and brownies or makes sandwiches as well filled with either cheese spread or peanut butter (which is also a fave of mine). Anyways, you guys are probably wondering what happened to me yesterday since I didn't get to post anything yesterday, as in anything.

I didn't post anything because yesterday was a Sunday and we didn't go anywhere (mom wanted to actually rest since she's been working her ass off lately because we have no idea where to get my tuition fee for second semester) so I didn't have an access to any computer and even if I could have gone out and rented a unit at an internet cafe, I was just too lazy to pick my butt of the bed. Seriously, I wanted to go trick or treating, or at least go outside to see little kids doing their thing (and that's not just so I can post something, anything).

I miss doing the same thing when I was their age 'cause I've missed a lot of Halloweens since usually I'm doing something else (don't ask me yet again 'cause my mind is going blank but I'm pretty sure I was really doing something else since if I wasn't then I would've freaking gone out and done my thing, getting heaps of candies and consuming them 'til my teeth hurt and mom tells me to just effin' stop gobbling them all up like there's no tomorrow). By the way, title's actually from Sun Tzu's The Art of War. My friend says it was mentioned in the film.

I finally have my grades for college, first semester (yes, online, we don't have class cards much to my dismay since I've wanted to see one because everyone's been talking about it sometime during the first half of the past semester). Fortunately, I don't have a single 3 and I didn't fail any course as much as I was expecting to be signing up for biological science and math1 summer classes. Unfortunately, my mom was kind of disappointed when she saw my grades. If ever I do enroll for next semester, the pic below will be my schedule.

Mondays do suck after all, huh? (BTW, click the image for a better,
